I took this photo last fall in Toronto. I always loved the idea of traveling across North America in a Volkswagen West Falia Camper, youthful dreaming but I would still be open to it. One time my sister and I drove from Toronto down to Key West, Florida in a brown Plymouth Aries Station Wagon, but that is a story for another day ;).

I used a short form of my alias Nina Flower this time, why? I am not sure tbh, I think I am feeling more fun than serious these days ;).

I hope you enjoy the mix!

There was a Time when Deep was clearly diving into the true roots of electronic music, one step on techno side with the loops, sequencers and athmosfere, and the other one in the jazzistic, soul and danceable path of the House. Househeads around the world can recognize every label, every imprint and see the evolution, the mark of every producer, the intensity, the travel, but there is a common aspect in Deep: This is an underground thing. Could be nice in the commercial side, but roots are roots, so I puke everytime I read in wikypedia or other net blogs the commercial side, forgetting the real names, because theres is a commercial interest to promote new media clowns, that finally are turning Real Deep into Eurobeat.

But today there are new ones that still are heading the roots and paying respect for the legacy in this House style.

Some examples of that  in new promos on the show, with usual suspects that you must know very well.

As we suffer some technical problems during transmission, extra time for enjoy. So much thanks to Odogg for the effort to keep this spaceship in function, at lightspeed.

And if you are one of those who claim to spin "Melodic House" move to other station. We are a serious dangerous motherfukers with what we do.

I took this photograph while riding on a double decker tourist bus in the streets of Barcelona, Spain in 2016.

A bunch of my Scottish pals were making the yearly track to Sonar festival, and I figured what the heck, another country off the bucket list so off I went to party in Barcelona with a group of Glaswegians. Of course it was messy! this wee Canadian could not keep up ;) I think I fell in love with the city, more than I did with the festival, tbh I missed most of the festival lol, but I had a blast!

Sometimes when I am behind my turntables and I am feeling a track, I get flashes of places I have traveled to, or situations I have been in that brought me happiness and inspiration. This photograph came to mind when I was making this mix. I hope you enjoy!

In the track of the Fellini's legacy, a holidays in Roma, in the middle of the summer, in a city with less tourist than ever, just the perfect time to get lost in the streets and enjoy the quiet of the patios, the art around every corner, the fresh water of the fountains, the food, the wine, the views dining in a hotel terrace, the design, the fashion, the style, and the love.

Italy also had been one of the Soulful music pillars in House culture, mostly in Soulful House with great names, so this mix is in this vibe, to dance with us in style.

Grazie mile, Federico. Now I know you.
