My name is Sylvia Wes, I have been a certified dog trainer for 7 years. I am currently working as an early developmental and reactivity/ aggression specialist.  While I am a certified professional dog trainer, the majority of my cases revolve around behavior consulting and modification.

​I have been working with dogs in a professional capacity for over a decade.  I got my start in the rescue sector, running a huge no kill center in DTLA with over 200 animals in our care.  I forayed into pet care as a special needs and geriatric care specialist before diving into the world of dog training.

​I am passionate about science based, positive reinforcement training.  I currently hold two certification and am seeking a new certification in behavior consulting. I believe in the power of individual learning, radical consideration and choice based learning models to help propel your relationship with your dog to next level.

​Let me help guide you into a new world of better communication, meeting your dog's needs and human animal bonding to last your dog's lifetime.  Anything is possible with though the power of love, patience and science.

Robin Roy has been training dogs her whole life, starting as a child following her mother, an American Kennel Club obedience judge, around the ring. She started training professionally to keep dogs out of shelters and rescues. Robin’s training methods are positive, dog-friendly techniques that work easily—and help you help your dog. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, and the West LA Obedience Club. She has volunteered with a number of rescue groups and specializes in rescue dogs. She is a certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and is certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. She is a therapy dog evaluator and also trains service dogs. She longs for a time when all humans appreciate dogs for all they are.

Renee Rhoades, MSc / Applied Animal Behaviorist

My journey into the field of canine behavior has been fueled by a lifelong dedication to enhancing the lives of dogs and their humans. From an early age, my love for dogs was unmistakable—my family often jokes that I was born with a deep connection to them. This passion truly blossomed when I began volunteering at my local ASPCA during high school, where I gained firsthand experience with dogs' diverse needs and unique personalities.

This pivotal experience led me to dedicate a decade to veterinary medicine, where I honed my understanding of animal health and welfare. Yet, it became clear to me that physical healing was only part of the equation. To truly support dogs and their guardians, I also needed to delve deeper into the intricacies of canine mental health. This realization drove me to pursue further education, dedicating another decade to shifting my focus to canine behavior.

As an Applied Animal Behaviorist and the founder of R+Dogs, I am committed to offering evidence-based, compassionate behavior consulting and educational opportunities that prioritize the highest ethical and welfare-based practices.

My mission is simple: to empower you with the knowledge and skills to unlock your dog’s full potential and make their short lives as fulfilling and joyful as possible.

Lisa Radosta DVM, DACVB

Dr. Radosta graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. She completed a residency in Behavioral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. During her residency, she was awarded the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists Resident research award two years in a row. 

Dr. Radosta is the owner of Florida Veterinary Behavior Service, a specialty behavior practice in southeast Florida and co-owns Dog Nerds, an online educational resource for owners whose pets have behavior disorders.

She is a sought after speaker nationally and internationally. She is a coauthor of several books including: Behavior Problems of the Dog and Cat, 4th edition and From Fearful to Fear Free. She is a contributing author for Blackwell’s Five Minute Veterinary Consult, Blackwell's Five-Minute Veterinary Consult Clinical Companion: Canine and Feline Behavior, Decoding your Cat, Canine and Feline Behavior for Veterinary Technicians and Nurses and Feline and Small Animal Pediatrics. 

She has published research articles in the Journal of Applied Animal Behavior Science, Journal of Veterinary Behavior and The Veterinary Journal and written review articles for Advances in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, Compendium, NAVC, Veterinary Team Brief, Clinician’s Brief and AAHA Newstat. She has served on the Fear Free Executive Council and the AAHA Behavior Management Task Force.

She has been interviewed for many publications including Cat Fancy, Dog Fancy, Palm Beach Post, NAVC Clinician’s Brief, Sun Sentinel, WebMD, AAHA trends, Real Simple, Good News for Pets, Catster, DVM 360 and AAHA News Stat.
