James is joined by the wonderful owner of The Henley Larder, Zoë Ferreira, for our eighth episode. Not only is Zoë a brilliant part of our local community but she is also a very committed dog Mum who adores her dog, Olivier. Funny and warming throughout, it was an absolute pleasure to have Zoë on and we hope you enjoy the interview!
Our seventh episode provides a brilliant insight into being a first time Cavapoo dog parent. Narelle, our guest, shares her journey from being someone who grew up in Papa New Guinea, where dogs were kept as working animals who predominantly lived outside and were used for guarding more than anything else, to completely immersing herself in the now very modern style of dog ownership that we are all witnessing. Her Cavapoo Coco has helped her enormously and their bond is so evident in the way Narelle talks about her! This interview is informative, wonderful and shows just how important dogs are in our 21st century lives! As always, let us know what you think and we hope you enjoy listening.
Bailey is one of our daycare dogs and he’s just adorable! We had a lovely chat with his Mum, Sophia, on this episode. Such a brilliant insight into being a first time dog parent and the good/tricky things that come with that. We hope you enjoy listening and let us know what you think!
Episode 5 is a superb insight into what it's like to be a rescue dog parent. From talking about dealing with the long list of issues that accompany rescue dogs to sharing the joy she has felt in experiencing the little wins along the way, our guest, Jess Mecklenburgh, is hugely engaging throughout. Jess is the epitome of a committed dog parent who has dedicated a huge portion of her time to her dogs, ensuring they get the most out of life. This interview is heart warming, informative and there are certainly some laughs along the way too! As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated and you can contact us at [email protected]. Enjoy!
Our fourth episode is a real treat! James is joined by Harry Portch, the founder of HM Staffing, host of The Spike Podcast, a great chap and, as you’d hope on a dog podcast, a true fan of all things canine! The title gives a hint as to what a decent chunk of this episode is about; Tilly, Harry’s beloved French Bulldog. From stories that will really make you chuckle to information and guidance aimed at people who are perhaps looking to own a Frenchie for the first time, this interview has so much to offer. Send us an email to [email protected] and let us know what you think. We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did!
For our third episode, James is joined by Sally Beaton. Sally is a Women’s Holistic Nutritionist and Coach, the author of ‘Get Your Sparkle Back' and a huge lover of dogs!
The interview alternates between being very light-hearted and funny to covering issues like dealing with the grief of losing your dog. Sally brilliantly explains what we can learn from our dogs, including the importance of living in the present and being comfortable with the way that we look. It’s safe to say that we got so much more out of this interview than we could have ever asked or hoped for.
Any feedback, as always, is greatly appreciated and you can reach us at [email protected]. Enjoy!
