Drew Loryn sits down with two Chicago Comedians, Jessica Misra and Evan Hull. Drew, Jessica, and Evan in addition to being stand up comedians, we’re all former Division I divers in college. In the beginning, Evan and Jessica discuss their experiences of going to therapy and what led them to start. The common thread of the episode was discussing how the culture of Diving and the NCAA affected their bodies (physically & mentally), mindset, relationships, identity, and more.

Deanna dives deep into how to create boundaries with people who make unnecessary comments about her body. Drew Loryn sits down with her college friend, Josie McGarva. Josie talks about her experience living with Chron’s Disease since she was 13 and having upwards of 20 surgeries. She discusses how Chron’s impacted her mental health and the journey it took her to finally be open about living with this disease. Josie then went on to discuss how she is in Graduate School for Psychology and what it was like to work in a pediatric psychiatric unit.
