In this episode, Rebecca and Stace chat with our friends at USDA - Rural Development (USDA-RD). The conversation was filled with information about various Rural Development programs that are available to folks living in rural communities across Tennessee. Arlisa Armstrong is the State Director and was thrilled that we invited her and her colleagues, Don Harris and Mary Hickman, to join us and help promote their life changing housing loan programs.

In this episode, Stace and Rebecca had a great chat with Missy Marshall, Executive Director of Keep TN Beautiful (KTnB) while one of the KTnB Board members, Jeannie Henry, was off camera. We learned that Keep TN Beautiful is focused on keeping our wonderful state beautiful by reducing the amount of trash that shows up on our roads, in our communities and water systems by using the Three Es: education, engagement and enforcement. There are some great things happening in communities throughout the state from TrasherCize in Leiper's Fork to The Litter Chicks in Mountain City.

In this episode, Stace and Rebecca had a wonderful conversation with Rita Jarnagin who is the Director of the Grainger County Office on Aging. Rita took on this important leadership role in 2018 and has made it her own. She shared the history of her life in Grainger County and told us all about the assistance her office offers to community members 60 years and older. Rita works hard connecting them with community resources such as the Clinch-Powell home repair program, filling out applications for various other programs and delivers 45 boxes of food to Grainger County Seniors every month. Rita truly is an asset to her community, and we are honored that she stopped by to chat with us.
