We advocate for those whose voices have been silenced by those who abuse their power.

The boy, the mom, the dad, the neighbor, the postman

 What role did they play in the growth of the dragon?

Consider How these characters relate to to the readings planned for today pgs. 837-839

The Young boy admits something is wrong he sees the dragon but he is told by his mother there is no such thing?

 How does this apply to our church?

The mother why doesn't she want to admit she sees the dragon?

The father why does the dragon shrink?

The neighbor points the way the dragon went why?

The postman chases the dragon why? 

Why is it that those close to the abusers(the dragons) in our church such as; fellow priests,and  staff'

What keeps them from chasing the dragon...like the postman?

Mark 10:13-16 

Is there abuse of the sacrament of Holy Orders in the church.

What happens to those who report abuse in the church and why?

What happens to bishops who are accused  of abuse over and over?

Why do they get honored and get to speak publicly from there platform when they are stepping down because of abuse.

Do errant clergy get atta boys and kudos? 

Do whistle blowers get the same treatment ?

 Why is it that those close to the abusers(the dragons) in our church such as; fellow priests,and  staff'

  What keeps them from chasing the dragon...like the postman?

In the dragon story there are members of the community that see and point the way to find the dragon.

In our church community who can we depend on to point the way to truth.
