We've gone on family vacations for years, and when I think back over the time we've spent together, the highlights always include our meals.

When one of my daughters had a program every night for a week, I spent more one on one time with my other daughters and I reflected on this time as another expression of my domestic church. It is fun to have the whole family together and it's fun to have one on one time with one daughter. This daddy-daughter time made me think about our time with our heavenly Father.

We recently decorated our home for a birthday party. My daughter rearranged the balloons, so a purple balloon and an orange balloon were side by side. "Daddy, look" she shouted, "aren't they brighter together?"

As we celebrate Trinity Sunday, it's a good opportunity for us to reflect on the meaning of the words we say as we pray in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
