This was a rich time with Pastors Matthew & Megan Hester and Pastors Rudi and Carmen Louw. We had a great discussion and took questions during our time together. So good!

We were thrilled to have Randall Worley with us to share what was on his heart. He brought a word challenging us to walk in the reality if the Kingdom in the face of fear and gloat panic. It's a timely word!

The Lord has prepared a place for you. As soon as we accept where the place is and the way to get to that place, we will have joy and fulfillment to a degree that we never have before. Unfortunately, religion has painted these passages of Scripture to be treated as a future event for all saints. These words from the mouth of Jesus were never meant to be placed into the future, but they are meant to be enjoyed now!

Jesus was expressing the truth (Luke 7:47), those who know and believe how much God truly loves them and has forgiven them, they will end up loving Him very much! Those who have little understanding of His love and forgiveness will love little. This is why it is imperative as new covenant believers that we focus on how much God loves us instead of how much we love God. If you truly receive and believe how much God loves you and has forgiven you of all your sins, you will end up loving God greatly - he who is forgiven much, loves much!

Jesus is the perfect reflection of God. If we desire to see the glorious brightness of God, we need look nowhere else than Jesus. The writer of Hebrews declares, “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.” (Heb. 1:3). The Old Covenant offers a cloudy view of Who God is, but Jesus dispels any and all doubts in His Person. In Jesus, we find out that God is better than we ever thought. 

Romans 5:6-8-

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (NIV)

God’s affection sent an intervening storm for Jonah - and it’s this same affection that sent an intervening Savior. God’s interventions come for us all…and we find ourselves in one of two groups in need of rescue. We are either in the group of the immoral, or the moral. The immoral person will try to save himself through lawless living while the moral person will try to save himself through legalistic living. Neither approach can save anyone. 

Romans 11:6-
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

In grace, there is no room for man’s work, pure and simple. Don’t misunderstand, grace will allow you to accomplish amazing works in the Kingdom, but your work will never produce or add to the gift that is grace. In other words, grace is working in you, but you can’t work for it.
