Transcending Gender with Tien Neo Eamas on Domino Thinking with Alison Donaghey

They spoke about ‘Transcending Gender'

Tien Neo Eamas is a modern day Wizard. He turns yuck to yay. His intention is to bring humanity into a whole new level of freedom, choice and joy. Tien is the first Asian bi-gendered, trans man to publicly transition in the then-called gay and lesbian community in Vancouver, BC, 2001. In 2008 he founded Happy Tranny Day, the first-ever Trans celebration in the world.

This event has since evolved into the annual Transgender Day of Celebration.

His life did not get any easier after transitioning. As a male, Tien faced a whole new set of challenges. He struggled to pass as his new gender, and experienced repeated trans-hatred, invisibility, humiliation and ignorance, as well as disrespect from community, institutions, medical and the legal system and rejection from family and friends. He internalised all this and ended up with much anger, righteousness, financial struggles, debt, depression and extreme self hatred.

In 2009 Tien attempted suicide. The next morning, his soul spoke, 'Tien, you are still alive, what do you want to do now?’ Tien said,’ I just want to be happy, I want to finally know peace and love for this weird tranny body, I just want to be happy’ Soul said, ‘Ok, if you want to stay on earth, then promise me one thing, that you are gonna have F^**%## good time! Otherwise, I give you my blessings, you can go home to your maker already!’

That day, the Phoenix Rose, and the Wizard was born. Since then, Tien choses to live, to CHOOSE JOY, in the face of ANY oppression. To do only things that brings him JOY. His life transformed.

Tien creates his life exactly as he chooses, transforming darkness to light, fear to joy, lead to gold. He is a gold/silversmith, alchemist, artist, Feng Shui consultant, coach, inspirational speaker, performer and teacher. His curriculum, Transcending Gender, includes many courses that are unlike the common teachings around SOGI or political correctness or social justice. He teaches to evolve humanity’s consciousness into more Joy, Freedom and Choice.

He successfully trained over 3,000 pet dogs using his proven formula that works for any dog of any age. Despite Ryan’s success, his childhood trauma, along with combat PTSD (deployment to Iraq with Army K-9 Zito,) caused him to become a workaholic. Resulting in multiple near death experiences. Currently, Ryan is a published author of “The Art of Dog Training”, as well as an inspirational speaker giving talks on PTSD and transformation, to include a TEDx talk “Overcoming PTSD With Dog Training Techniques.”
