He wears a nice shirt,

caftan, wide trousers and bast shoes.  

Чем ста́рше домово́й,  

The older the house spirit,  

тем моло́же он вы́глядит,  

the younger he looks,  

так как рожда́ется старико́м,  

as he is born an old man  

а умира́ет младе́нцем. 

and dies an infant.

and how friendly they are  with each other.
