Phillip is a lifelong Essendon fan who began watching in the 1960s and has family memories that go all the way back to the dawn of the VFL. Phillip also commentated on the Victorian Under 18 competition for over 10 years and has seen the births of many great careers, including Essendon stars Michael Hurley, David Zaharakis, Dyson Heppell and Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti and he shares those stories in this episode.
