Our guest today is the very talented, and funny (at times), Bob Smiley. Bob is a  Writers Guild of America award-winning writer who has written with success in TV, film, and books.  He is a partner in the Humble Picture Company with fellow writer/producer Grant Nieporte. Bob is also the founder of Silver Cord Stories, where he writes original stories and essays that feed the soul.  Bob penned the sports memoir FOLLOW THE ROAR for HarperCollins, chronicling his journey around the globe as he followed Tiger Woods for the entire 2008 season. In 2012, Bob wrote the satirical novel DON'T MESS WITH TRAVIS for Thomas Dunne Books, an effort Booklist called a “razor sharp debut novel.”  He recently served as creator and executive producer of the TV series LIFE JUST GOT REAL for The Wonder Project.  Previously he spent three seasons as a writer/producer for the Peabody Award-nominated Netflix series ATYPICAL.  Bob has sold pilots to a number of studios, networks, and streaming channels, including Netflix. His feature script SWELL is in development with Priyanka Chopra Jonas attached to star and co-produce through her Purple Pebble Pictures Bob began his writing career as a research assistant to the late, great William F. Buckley, Jr. and has been a guest speaker at both the Harvard Business School and his kids’ elementary school. Without a doubt, Bob IS NOT BORING!
