The Kardashians have become one of the most recognizable and commercially successful families in American culture, but understanding the source of their extraordinary influence is not straightforward. While their business acumen, branding, public relations expertise, and ability to build generational wealth are undeniable, I argue that their greatest asset has been their collective sex appeal, which has consistently captured public attention and fueled their empire. However, this raises an important question: if the Kardashians had been Black, would they have achieved the same level of fame, wealth, and cultural influence? I believe the answer is no. Women of color, particularly Black women, have historically faced stereotypes, racial bias, and harsher public scrutiny that often punish the very traits celebrated in white celebrities. While strategy, resources, and beauty all contribute to success, race remains a significant factor in determining how society rewards or penalizes public figures. Regardless of whether people admire or criticize them, the Kardashians have built an extraordinary business empire spanning fashion, beauty, wellness, media, and entertainment, securing their place as one of the most influential families in modern American culture. 

People trust men of God largely because of the image, authority, and emotional influence they project — not because they are inherently holier than others. History and modern scandals show that religious leaders fail just like any other human, raising questions about wealth, forgiveness, expectations, miracles, and financial dependence in ministry. Ultimately, men of God are not God, and should be respected without being idolized.
