Happy spring sisters! This week on Don't Bite Me, Raquel and Jace talk about the career stereotypes they face being dentists. Are dentists rich and greedy? Are all dentists old white men? On this week's episode of Don't Bite Me, Raquel and Jace catch up with their long-time friend and fellow dentist Dr Kendra "Class 5 Kenny" McCrea. We discuss our experiences dating in dental school and hear the pros and cons of having a partner who is also a dentist. We dive deep into how you know someone is 'the one', give advice on outgrowing relationships, and discuss Kendra's history of serial monogamy.  But first, Jace and Raquel share their strong opinions about Nespresso and High School Reunions.

It's winter baby! On this weeks episode of Don't Bite Me, Raquel and Jace discuss various winter activities and let the halitosisters know their thoughts on ski/snowboard culture (hint, it's a roast). We discuss if it's a dealbreaker if your date/partner doesn't ski, living for the aprés ski, and go over listeners stories of arguments on the ski hill.  Since winter is the driest season of the year, we discuss dry mouth and the dental implications that come along with it. This week on Don't Bite Me, Raquel & Jace welcome Dr. Olivia Young, an optometrist working out of Thunder Bay Ontario. We discuss the importance of positive relationships with staff, transitioning from school to the work force,  and the gender shift in optometry vs dentistry.  We also go over a holiday gift guide, and ask Olivia for some easy tips on how to reduce waste and your impact on the environment. You'll also learn about Jace's new found passion to be a check-out clerk and finally find out Raquel's big news! Enjoy!

On the 13th (wow) episode of Don't Bite Me, Raquel and Jace ask each other 73 rapid fire questions about life, dentistry, and relationships; based off of the Vogue series "73 questions". Raquel and Jace welcome their first in studio guest, PhD Student Chantal Rytz, to discuss her pursuit of academia, her research, and her long term relationship with her high school sweet heart.  Chantal completed her Bachelor of Science at UBCO in 2016, then continued on to her get Masters of cardiovascular and respiratory science at U of C.  She is currently completing a PhD in medical sciences at U of C with her research focusing on sex and gender medicine.  We also discuss Raquel's creepy piano neighbour and Jace's skunk saga.
