The crew is back for episode 004! They begin with an update on their weeks before discussing a potential kidnapping incident that hit close to home. The fellas obviously share the sentiment of protecting our women at all costs. They follow up with the latest on Colin Kaepernick and discuss their mixed feelings on the matter (15:00). Afterwards, they posed the question: Can you be pro Black and date outside your race? This lends itself to a conversation about how race and sexuality played a part in our upbringing. From there, they expound on a clip from The Real talk show regarding women, marriage, and dating outside their race to achieve marriage. We had to present a REAL male perspective on the topic. They’re just kicking it to start things off, but the lighter mood doesn’t last long before getting into an alarming incident involving Virtue’s wife. The fellas get into the topic of sex trafficking, kidnappings, and the heightened sensitivity due to the increasing volume of these incidents. The crew changes the subject rather quickly to discuss Tory Lanez, Chixtape 5, and where it ranks among the top albums of 2019 (16:30). Will decides to bring up another R&B GOAT, Omarion (35:45). They discuss their desire for new music from “O” and react to his recent Vlad TV appearance. From there the fellas touch on the removal of likes from Instagram and how it will impact the social media community (44:00). The talk about likes and attention lends itself to a conversation about the male ego and vulnerability. Do women prefer vulnerable men? (55:25) This one gets interesting! We also get into male versus female relationship requirements, which sex overlooks more requirements to acquire the other. The pod switches gears to Drake getting booed at Tyler, the Creator’s festival (1:21:49). Somehow we get to good sandwich fitting chips, briefly, before speaking on Wack 100, Blueface, and their Nipsey Hussle sentiments. Afterwards, the bros discuss Colin Kaepernick and the controversy surrounding the NFL workout (1:29:00). We finish up with a Disney+ / Netflix conversation and who has the upper hand.
