In this podcast, the Accord Team, Rebecca and Naomi, look at the scripture in Matthew 7 v 6 which tells us not to cast our pearls before swines. It can be tricky to think about Jesus instructing us to not cast our pearls before swines because that sounds like a contradiction to our Kingdom life. The truth is, we need to be filled with the love of God, full of the ability to forgive those who wrong us, give freely to those who ask, lay down our life for our sister BUT we also have to be smart about how we treat people and how we let others treat us. We need to be Christ like, full of love but smart about who we give ourselves to, because we all know that people can suck the life out of us if we are not careful, and that is why we are called to be discerning and careful about who we give ourselves to.
