Our story follows three friends on a Scuba expedition while on holiday from university. Being the experienced divers they are, the three enjoy exploring the vibrant coral reefs and mysteries of the Papua New Guinea ocean water.

But when they come across a large, circular, flat area of seabed, and notice that every other fish is avoiding that area, the trio come to realize that even the most dangerous shark around may not be at the top of the food chain.

Our story follows an avid attender of yard sales, who has come to know the yard sale culture like the back of his hand. But one day, he comes across a sign that gives him pause. “yard” is written in lower case letters, while “sale” is written like an acronym, with a period in between each letter.

Little does he know that this observation will change his life in ways he couldn’t foresee.

Tonight, we shall explore another of Ambrose Bierce’s stories!

This story is told from three points of view—in the form of statements. No single part has the complete story, but we can put together the complete picture using information from all three.

A wife is brutally strangled to death in her bedroom; a ghost appears to two men on a moonlit road, one of whom runs screaming into the night, never to be seen again.

This story is called “ The Moonlit Road”, and was written by Ambrose Bierce.

Tonight, I have a special treat for you! Long time listeners will know that the earliest stories featured on this channel were supplied to us by S.C. Mendes, who is an author and the owner of Blood Bound Books. He has sent over to me a fantastic short story – narrated by Daisy Morgan—called “Into the Pit”. Allow me to set the scene:

“Something’s afoot at Hungry Heifers. Customers are acting strange, employees are going missing, and seventeen-year-old Kelly isn’t sure if she’ll survive her first summer job. When a stranger reveals the disturbing behavior is being caused by a satanic ball pit, Kelly may be the only one who can save the day.”

Without further ado, here is “Into the Pit”, which was written by Nikki Noir and S.C. Mendes, and was narrated by Daisy Morgan…

Our story follows a young family as they enjoy the literal fruits of their labor, or rather, vegetables. As they sit down together to enjoy their meal, they first notice something…off about the flavor of the produce.

There is a certain turn to the flavor which colors the entire meal and leaves the family disappointed. They retire to bed, the taste still lingering in their mouths… and then the nightmares come.

Tonight, we’ll slowly creak open the basement door, and plunge into the unknown!

Our protagonist George wakes up in the middle of a thundery, blustery night with the urge to pee, so he gets up and heads to the bathroom. On the way there, he gets the needling sensation of being watched. As the power goes out and he’s plunged into darkness, he must brave his dark and spooky house to start the generator in the basement.

Thankfully, the things that lurk in darkened rooms are merely figments of his active imagination. …. Ha ha ha ha ha ha.
