Convenience is a killer—God’s blessings are found on the path of obedience, not what’s easiest. From Naaman’s healing to the widow of Zarephath, a boy’s lunch in John 6, and Isaac sowing in famine (Gen. 26), Scripture shows that “commanded vs. convenient” is the battle in every season. Faith takes effort and often feels inconvenient, but obedient steps unlock healing, family provision, personal increase, and purpose. Don’t modify God’s instructions to fit your comfort zone—choose inconvenient obedience and watch the windows of heaven open. This is a call to reject laziness, pursue the Holy Spirit’s leading, and run hard after what God has spoken.
