Don't Feel Secure in Ceremony

1 Corinthians 10:1-13

There were individuals in the church in Corinth who felt that the fact that they had been baptized and had partaken of the Lord's Supper made them immune to the temptations of idol worship. Just as a person who has taken shots that immunize lhim or her against a contagious disease is not afraid of catching it, the Corinthians felt that once they had been baptized and had taken the Lord's Supper, they were immune to any danger.
