I believe David is suggesting that if we stay strong during tough times, we’ll overcome our challenges Let us keep our eyes on the Lord today in our hearts tuned into his word. Let us have hope, faith, and peace of mind that God will turn things around. Amen.

Ascribe to the Lord Glory

What will be our focus for today? Will it be on ourselves or upon our great God? If we focus upon God, He will give us strength. He will give us peace, and that is what we need to make it through the day. Meditate upon this psalm. Take time to give glory to God today.

The Lord Is My Strength and My Shield

Psalms 28:1-9

The LORD is my strength and my shield. Let’s think about this today: if you had a shield but had no strength to lift the shield, or if you had strength but had no shield. Can you see they go together? We are in a spiritual warfare. We fight not against flesh and blood; let us put on the whole armor of God today.

The Lord Is My Light and My Salvation

Psalms 27:1-14

Oh, how we need the light of the Lord in this dark and dreary world. They offer no comfort; they offer no real joy. Everything is temporal. The world will offer sensuality, but hallelujah, Jehovah God through his Son Jesus Christ offers true salvation, true light, true comfort, true joy, true peace. Call upon the name of Jesus today. Trust him with all your heart; trust him in every situation. Meditate upon this psalm; your heart will be overwhelmed. Give thanks unto our God, our great King. Amen.

The voice of Thanksgiving

Psalms 26:1-12

How can we find the voice of Thanksgiving? Let’s start by thinking about the loving kindness of Jehovah God. He gave his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to us. We should meditate on his truth, which will fill us with faith, hope, joy, peace, and love. We also need to separate ourselves from sin, selfishness, and pride. These things will steal our voice. So, let’s embrace Thanksgiving and find the strength to speak truth.

Teach Me Your Paths

Psalms 25:1-13

David said, “Show me, teach me, and lead me.” Oh, what a lesson for every Christian to desire to have her eyes open to have an obedient will to be led by the Lord to have our understanding enlightened by the power of the Holy Ghost. The Christian can experience all these blessings. Thank you, heavenly Father, for your Son Jesus Christ. We come before your presence today with Thanksgiving. Amen. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord.

The King of Glory

Psalms 24:1-10

Oh, that we would lift up our heads in our hearts to the King of Glory. He is mighty, he is righteous. He is worthy of praise. Let us bow down before him today and humble ourselves, that his mighty hand would lift us up out of all our troubles. Thank you, mighty God. Glory hallelujah to your wonderful name.

At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess that he is the Lord of glory.

The Lord Is My Shepherd

Psalms 23:1-6

Jesus is the good Shepherd that gave his life for the sheep. Let us praise Jehovah God. For he gave his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, for the sins of the world.

We have a Shepherd in our life. We have a savior of our soul. My heart today is overwhelmed with Thanksgiving to God. Meditate upon this psalm, and yours will be also. Praise the Lord. Give glory to him. Hallelujah. Amen.
