Well what can we say, we love a good sports movie, and much like Penny Marshall, a good sports montage as well! This week we watched A League Of Their Own and got to talk all about women's sports and why they should be appreciated in culture way more than they currently are.

Madonna is in this movie (and makes a surprisingly good comedy duo with 90s icon, Rosie O'Donnell), Tom Hanks is very good at yelling, and we just love a team dynamic. Also, Geena Davis has a perfect jawline and more movies should be about sisterly dynamics/rivalries. Justice for Kit!

This week we watched the new Ryan Murphy movie-musical, The Prom! Did we like this movie? No, not really. But we did remember halfway through that Nicole Kidman was in Moulin Rouge!

We’re pitching an Animal Crossing musical (complete with Timmy & Tommy tap duet), talking about our favorite broadway musicals, and really try to get to the bottom of how The Prom movie managed to sap all of the joy out of a very joyful stage show.

Ultimately, we would appreciate an adaptation of 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee instead & would recommend going to watch the Documentary Now episode Co-Op: The Musical.
