Joseph died in Egypt and made his descendants promise to take his bones to the Promised Land. While he didn't see all of God's promises fulfilled in his lifetime, he trusted in God's faithfulness, right down to his very bones. If God doesn’t answer your prayers as you wish, remember that His goodness isn’t determined by your circumstances—He is good regardless. Have faith that He will fulfill His promises, even if it takes time for future generations.
