While I was growing up, there were too many discussions in the house related to how I will get married after my college. But the story just ended there like a happily ever after fairy tale. No one ever talked about how to cope with life later when life is not a bed of roses. Let's talk about Plan B today which each girl should be aware of.

Because while we all are stuck in the trap of stress, anxiety and overthinking, our guest for today floats in the ocean of spirituality and positivity with such a soothing presence. 

If you believe that each individual has his own energy, you will be able to feel her calm aura through this episode today interrupted by my not so calm aura of course! :)

It’s my pleasure to introduce Mahima Bhatnagar. 

Mahima is an Integrative Psychotherapist using tools like Psychoanalysis, Expressive Arts Therapy, Yoga & Meditation practices in her work. Mahima draws wisdom from Eastern schools of psychological thought and works with a holistic healing paradigm.

She is also a TedX speaker, Vice -President of Lakshyam Foundation – a shelter for children-at-risk and Joint-Secretary at the Sri Aurobindo Society, Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

As a result of a personal incident, Mahima had turned to spirituality in 2013 and has been a seeker on the path ever since. She further went on to study Buddhist and Indian Psychology and now integrates these learnings in her sessions. Mahima has written research papers on topics like Arts Based Therapy as a tool for emotional well-being; Rig Veda and its psychological symbolism; Model for Integral Counselling.

So while we all were getting stressed and anxious about being in a lockdown - Aashi on the other hand was looking out for solutions to help women take care of their physical, mental and emotional health through her passion project.

No doubt she is our daily hero.

Jharna has always been into adventure sports and swam competitively. But, six years ago, she got diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and is on daily multiple insulin injections. But could that stop her ? Hell no!

When swimming pools got shut during the lockdown, Jharna started to learn open water swimming.

So while we crib to even get out of the bed on a normal summer day and make excuses to not to go out even for a simple walk in the park - jharna with Type 1 diabetes swims in cold rivers in 2 degrees while managing her super fluctuating sugar levels!

No wonder she is Our Daily Hero!

We need to break the never-ending cycle of feeling bad about ourselves and not doing anything about it. That's how I broke mine.

This is a no-filter episode as I do not like to sugarcoat things in general.

The mistakes I made during my Weight Loss Journey - which I don't want you to repeat. Life will be so much easier if we learned from each other's mistakes. We would so much time as we won't be making all by ourselves. :D

Sometimes we know we need to do something in particular to feel better, but we are unable to do it and overcoming this loop of never-ending excuses is everything. This episode is about my journey of 'losing weight' or as should I say 'gaining confidence and my health back'.
