Take 5 minutes to practice mindfulness - a simple easy practice of sitting comfortably, closing your eyes, and focusing on your breath. ⠀

focus on the inhale and exhale. focus on the rising and falling of your shoulders and belly. focus on the feeling of the air entering your nose and leaving your mouth. do this for just 5 minutes and feel the calm of your mind as the stream of thoughts and concerns quiets. ⠀

take the feeling with you throughout the rest of your day. when feelings of frustration or upset creep up on you take a moment to realize and acknowledge them. decide if you will allow those feelings to guide your actions, or if you'll choose to let the sensation pass and return to a calm, rational state. ⠀
