In today’s episode I am joined by the usual suspects ( Cap, DJ-Incrediboi, and Abdullah) to discuss a recent comment that legendary MC KRS-1 made in regards to doing a versus against the one and only self-proclaimed G.O.A.T. LL cool J. We have an impromptu versus battle between the two and the outcome didn’t go exactly in the way you would think. Of course there’s probably some East Coast biased and some Bronx bias being that three out of the five people in this debate are from the Bronx, but overall it was a good and hilarious debate. We were also joined by fellow Lynn Massachusetts producer, sneakerhead, and father @Explizit_1. Great hip-hop conversations with people who have love for the culture. Enjoy.
If you are a sneaker head this is the episode for you. Today Abdullah and I had the opportunity to talk with a central Pennsylvania native who made it out to California and is really doing it big on the sneaker reselling scene. Ladies and gentlemen @717soles from York Pennsylvania. We discuss reselling how to get started his origin story as well as certain tips as far as business that you may not have known. Pardon the reception. Enjoy!!
On this episode we have somewhat of a continuation of last weeks episode. Joined by my cohost Abdullah, Cap A.k.a. @sadiejaesking and also joined by DJ Incrediboi. On this episode we get more into his actual backstory and his travels as well as some weight loss tips. Lots of jokes also discussing topics like what rappers that you thought were actually going to make it and didn’t go where they should have as well as BIG PUN stories. You will definitely enjoy this dynamic.
This episode is a musical discussion with three diehard Bronx cats and one Boston transplant. I am joined by Abdullah my cohost as well as Cap AKA @sadiejaesking featured on our last episode and famous Bronx DJ Incrediboi. We discussed everything from top five producers in our opinions to the state of HipHop music to New York bias & arrogance. Definitely a good talking/debate piece. Enjoy
Been looking forward to this one. Given the climate with BLM and politics I had a chance to speak with a photographer that was on the frontlines of the protests in New York City to get a real & honest perspective on what's really going on at these rallies. Also got into his start in photography as well as his HipHop roots. Listeners I give you Manny AKA Cap AKA @sadiejaesking on IG. ENJOY!!!!
In this episode Dula & myself talk about our weekend trip to the Bronx which for some reason had Dula astonished that certain areas were gentrified. Neither of us had been up to New York in about a year or so maybe more so it’s interesting to see. We also go off on tangents as we normally do and talk about some political issues as well as Harrisburg pride etc. We also get a call at the very end from somebody we were supposed to interview but we will have that episode up later this week. Enjoy this quickIe (PAUSE).
In today’s episode we initially started talking about Sneakers but then a phone call from my brother(Martin aka Saul) in jail made the episode take a completely different turn. And like I always say different tangents tend to take on a life of their own which is exactly what happened in this episode. I hope you guys enjoy.
When you talk about living a crazy life it doesn’t get any crazier than Wise. From growing up in Southeast Washington DC to being raised in Harrisburg and getting involved in all kinds of street drama, Wise has seen it all. He used those experiences to become a great MC as well as an author. Go pick RAW ICE his book. Available on all reading platforms. You guys will definitely enjoy the stories on this episode.
Hope everybody had a good Labor Day weekend. On today’s episode we do a quick discussion on P Valley. We discussed the good the bad and the ugly of the show. We also discussed some of the actors and where they have acted before as well as certain stereotypes in these types of shows and how this one differs. Quick 40 minutes I hope you enjoy.
