This we looked at James 1:1-4 and Romans 5:3-5 and saw that the difficulties that we are going through now, or that we will go through are developing something that nothing else can develop. We saw that when we frame our struggles through lens of knowing who God is and what God is capable of we can face them with a joy and a hope that is rooted not in an outcome but in the truth of the power and ability of our God to use them for His glory and our good. Suffering produces perseverance, perseverance produces proven character and character produce a hope in Christ that will never disappoint.
