It's not easy to stop thinking, especially when a majority of what we think about is revolving around ourselves. Attempt to live in a conscious state, and start becoming mindful of what others say or do without assuming it's about you. Become aware of how intense the impact is to your personal self-worth. Are you personally attached to what others say? Take a listen. It might clear up some self worth issues currently simmering in your mind, and help get you through future social anxiety. Apply it to friends, family and co-workers. If it's a one time engagement or a lifetime with a spouse it's a lot more pleasant when we are aware of the dirty habit of being quick to take everything personally. Much love.
