don't take it personal. a common phrase we've all probably heard. we've been having this conversation all week on whether or not we should take it personal.. whatever "it" is. we thought it would be interesting and fun to continue this ongoing conversation on the podcast since the two of us basically stand at opposite ends of the "take it personal" spectrum. society often views taking it personal as a negative characteristic but after this conversation, we both agreed that context is extremely important + whether you take something personal (or not) can depend on the season of life that you're in. so one question: are you taking that sh*t personal or not? wherever you stand is totally fine. what matters is how you allow it to fuel you.
