Continuing our summertime run of 'Doomed Cinema' episodes, we visit the extraordinarily atmospheric period film, 'The Witch' (2015)by director Robert Eggers. A masterpiece by any measure, this movie is both a family drama and a supernatural thriller. Inspired by its themes, I've paired it with a number of similarly moving (often disturbing) doom metal and stoner rock tracks.
