"Do you want me to die?" snarls the Crusader en route to Jerusalem on a vessel of conquest. The setting: Valhalla Rising, the 2009 film by Nicolas Winding Refn. One Eye (Mads Mikkelsen) stares in silence as a blood red mist pours in over the purgatorial sea. It's Act III of the film and I got inspired by this strange tale over open waters to put together this playlist to accompany it, with tracks by Sea Witch​, AHAB​, Heavydeath​, Lord Mantis​, UR​, and Usnea​.
