Don't waste your time
I hated this book. All the crap about defining morality. The "work." The pretentiousness of it all. I have nothing good to say. Hated ALL of the characters, hated the story itself, hated the writing style...
This was popular in Germany? That makes me think less of Germans.
Boo Jonas Winner. Boo!!!
Though this book was a big bore.
lots of long winded discussions about the same topic. Hard to follow. disappointing ending!
unnecessarily complex timeline combined with stilted and less than profound ...
Confusing, unnecessarily complex timeline combined with stilted and less than profound search for meaning in the absurdity of life. Read Vonnegut (Cat's Cradle) or Sarte (No Exit) if you're looking for good existentialist literature.
