On the thirty-fourth episode of Much Review About Nothing we review Doolittle (2020). Again, we must point out that we haven't seen the movie. That is 100% not a joke. Everything we know about the film comes from the trailer, reviews, articles, and our own biased preconceptions. Listen along as we ponder burning questions like: Is Dr. Doolittle basically just another Netflix Tiger King? Are the animals in this film from a different, highly off-putting dimension? Can Doolittle’s lesser-known brother, the loveable Dr. Treelittle, actually talk to trees or is he just mentally unstable? Where in the world is Doolittle’s dead wife? How do Peter Rabbit and the Australians fit into all this? But, most importantly, does Doolittle gradually fall to the dark side and weaponize his linguistic abilities to invade Britain with ferocious animals, thus forcing Treelittle to step in and rally an arboreal army against him in the sequel?
Dr. Doomlittle Vs. Dr. Treelittle (Never coming to a theater near you, because theaters don’t exist anymore!)
