Growing up Western Massachusetts

Going to school with Ed Mann from Frank Zappa’s band

Playing Peaches En Regalia and Tiny Umbrellas in his band 

Seeing Zappa with Terry Bozzio and Steve Vai, and later Chad Wackerman 

Kenny recalls learning Joe’s Garage parts, from his buddy Vinnie Calluata 

Touring with Dweezil on the Jimi Hendrix Experience Tour  

Seeing The Beatles on Ed Sullivan and asking his Mom to call them and arrange for Kenny to join the band 

Training on classical percussion and getting into Tanglewood and studying with Leonard Bernstein and Aaron Copeland

Scoring a job at a music program in Aspen, Colorado which led to moving to Indiana University to stufy music

Friend Ruthie Allen mentioned that John Cougar needed a drummer, so Kenny auditioned and got the gig, only to be sidelined by Steve “The Crop” Cropper

Kenny fought his way to stay with John Cougar and won
