As we grow in God, we find ourselves going deeper into truth that we already know. This applies to the first Christmas gift of eternal life. Other gifts wear out & fade away over time. But this gift is eternal, and when we receive Jesus we receive that life now and eternally. In addition, there is something we are gonna do with this life - It’s A Wonderful Life.

When we are born again, something happens to us. There is a race that is set before us. It’s a path to walk in, works to fulfill and a pilgrimage to complete. God is calling us deeper into relationship with Him. In responding to Him, we need to surrender in order to truly hear His heart and act upon His heart. Sometimes when we have stuff of life going on we can be downcast and just feel stuck. We can even know the answer, but we seem unable to move from the place of despair to the place of faith. There are some things that God gives us to help us get unstuck and moving in the right direction - Relationship Issues With God - 'When You Feel STUCK'.

John the Baptist had a special connection with Jesus and was in the category of good people, with all God’s promises for him. Yet he died at the price of a dance. There are times when we are living for God with all His promises for us, yet a John the Baptist type of situation happens. It can cause us to have a relationship issue with God, so that in our secret place there is an elephant in the room. We can all have internal stuff that we deal with, including the demonic fluff that magnifies a real fear of being hurt again. There is no guarantee that we will not be hurt again, but we can be free from that fear because there is a courage we can get in God to confront it - Entrusting God With People - Fear Of Being HURT AGAIN.

We gotta have an active walk with God that gives us strength to walk in love toward other people. Even so, we will face rejection and it takes faith to respond to it. The Holy Spirit brings freedom from the fear of rejection while showing us where we can also make adjustments - Entrusting God With People - Fear Of Being REJECTED.

If we’re gonna love Jesus, we have to deal with people issues as part of loving Him. We cannot walk in love toward others independently of our love for God. We need Him to do this love walk through life. So we don’t love others for God, we love them with God - Entrusting God With People - Fear Of Being CONTROLLED.

We know that God always loves us, and that love never changes. In response to His love, we are to prefer Jesus above all other relationships. Then Jesus says that we should also love one another. Us loving God and also loving others is interdependent with each other. When we love Him above all others, then we can love others properly - Entrusting God With People - Fearless Love.

When we approach Jesus, we find Him to be meek & lowly of heart. This is powerful because it is disarming, and helps us to respond to Him with our affection & hearts. In this moment, He makes us to lie down & relax in His presence. While we’re resting, we’re not giving up on the answer but are letting Him restore our souls. Then we can have ears to hear the paths of righteousness - The Resting Place.
