In this psalm about a future king, what did you hear and like?  

Today we hear another psalm of lament.  What do you get out of these kinds of psalms?  Do you hear despair or hope?  Doubt or faith?  

Here we have a psalm about victory and loss in battle and God's activity in it.  Changing it from battle to other circumstances, how do you see things play out when you take control and then when you let God be in control?   I think that is what lies behind this psalm.  

Here we see God's people getting into various circumstances and then God helping them through them.  Where have you seen God working through your circumstances of life?  

This psalm recounts the sins and unfaithfulness of Israel and asks for a return from exile.  How might these words of confession resonate with your own life?  

This psalm focuses on the faithfulness of God in the history of the people of Israel.  What was the main point or the most important part that affected you today?
