The offseason has officially begun for the Coach Lea and the staff and we are 2 weeks away from Early Signing Day. Lots of home visits taking place and many more recruits will be in West End the next two weeks. Let the chaos begin!!

With the 2021 season coming to an end Coach Lea and his staff are taking a different approach when it comes to gameday visits with recruits. Vanderbilt receives two more commitments for the 2022 class but also lose another player to the portal. 

Vanderbilt Football is at its lowest for the first time this season. Clark Lea and his staff have a tough situation to get out of regarding some locker room issues with players on building a different culture under Lea. Within the past week Vanderbilt continues to struggle with on the field performance and now have lost a player to the portal while also losing two of its highest rated recruits in the 2022 recruiting cycle.

Big weekend for Vanderbilt Football as they will host the Mississippi State Bulldogs Saturday for Homecoming weekend. With the first month of recruiting coming to an end, Vanderbilt will be hosting lots of recruits including some of the top players in the country this weekend. With some players receiving crystal balls the past couple weeks and days, we could possibly see a commitment after this weekend.

What a way to start this crazy summer of recruiting. Lots of recruits attended the cookout and walked away impressed by our staff. Lots of takeaways from the visit along with a sneak peak video of the new locker room from our Instagram page (commodores_recruiting). Brycen Sanders took over the Instagram for the visit. Official visits start on Friday and will be having another takeover by a recruit that is taking his official this weekend which will be announcing soon. Also had a new offer yesterday and his takeaway from that.
