This week on the show we chat about so much fun stuff. In the history portion, we talk about the resignation of Jack Tunney from the WWF, a short WHC reign for Savage & more. From there the Retro Raw covers a main event that involved SCSA & The Undertaker as they are set to meet at Judgement Day. Into the Dorkness is surprisingly full of news and new arrivals. Toward the end, we cover all things AEW, touch on WWE and run down the recent ACW Wisconsin show at Tanners.
Back to our regularly scheduled programing this week! Big thanks to Casey Corbin for chatting last week. We take a look at the recent Money in the Bank show that the WWE presented from London. It was very good. We also touch on all of the AEW offerings. I can't believe they have three weekly shows now. Slim pickings in the figure news department, but that should heat up soon as SDCC is at the end of the month. We are officially on the road to SummerSlam in Detroit and we can't wait to experience that and share it with you all. Remember, the best way to help the show is to tell a friend about it. Lets grow this thing!
This week on the show we have a very special treat for you all: Casey Corbin returns to give us a first hand look at the past week's excellent PPV from Toronto, AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door! Like in the past, we chat Casey up about other things as well and it was a lot of fun. We also run some other stuff that happened on this historical day including the 1998 HIAC match between Mankind & Undertaker and the most watched wrestling match of all time! What match is that? You will have to listen to the show to find out. A big thanks to Corbin for joining us again. Be sure to check out all his stuff on Spotify and if he's bringing his comedy to a town near you, by god go see him. Cheers!
Buckle up, folks as we have a bit of a long show this week, but I promise it is worth the listen. We get side tracked from time to time, but that's what makes the show fun, right? The Retro Raw was the go home show to KOTR '99 and there are some stipulations at stake in this one and it's a fun watch. We have a real mixed bag as we go "Into the Dorkness" with all sorts of figure news and a 1 of 1 card that has made its way into Matty's collection! From there we run down all of the various wrestling we have absorbed since we last sat down, including a first hand recap of the debut episode of AEW Collision! Cheers!
This week on the show, we take a look at an entertaining episode of Raw in the "Retro Raw Review" as SCSA has taken up his position of CEO of the WWF. He hits all of the departments and makes some changes around there! We also chat about a man that will emerge at WrestleCon that has been away the wrestling business for over 30 years! We also give our thoughts on all of the current episodes of Raw, Smackdown & AEW. Mat will have a first hand report from the Collision debut next week. Cheers!
This week on the show we have a very diverse "History" section followed by a Retro Raw where we a re finally introduced to the Greater/Higher Power. Most of you know where this was going, but it was a memorable episode non the less. From there we have a bit of figure news before chatting about a ton of stuff in The Stu! GCW Cage of Survival, Dynamite, and a really solid Rampage are all on the table. We hope you enjoy and we will be back with another show next week like we always do. Cheers!
This week on the show we do our best to recap a very busy weekend in the world of professional wrestling. All three major brands presented a big show with Double or Nothing, Night of Champions & Battleground. I think they all delivered and I'd love to hear what you all thought about them. As we step back in time for the Retro Raw Review, we are headed toward KOTR '99, but first we have a "Greater Power" that must be revealed. Will we see it this week? Listen to find out! Thank you so much for all of the support. Please rate, review and subscribe. Tell a friend. It all helps! Cheers.
This week on the show we toe the line between comedy &
This week on the show we are definitely in rare form. It was a fun one, albeit a bit morbid, but laughter is a great way to deal with heavy shit. We hit on all of the normal segments as the Retro Raw keeps trucking toward Over the Edge, which was the scene of Owen Harts untimely passing. We will cover that as well as the Raw after next week. We also talked about the big heel turn on Dynamite, a lucha deathmatch and a whole lot more! Cheers!
This week on the show we have a great time discussing a ton of stuff. Lots of fun info in the history section. The Retro Raw Review was a look back at the highest rated Raw in history as Comm. HBK throws some obstacles in the path of Shane McMahon. We also watched Backlash and really enjoyed it! We hope you enjoy the show, and if you do, please do us a solid and tell a friend! Rate, review, subscribe. All that stuff helps more than you know. Cheers!
