Dorkside of the Ring

This week on the show, we chat about the recent Mattel reveals on Ringside Fest 2022. Some folks are happy, and others are not, but we are getting a re-release of the elusive King Harley Race figure, amongst other announcements! We also look at the first Raw match for Shane McMahon and Test in the RRR and cover all recent shows from AEW, and WWE (save for Raw, but The Packers were playing Monday night) Before we sign off, we run down the full card for Wrestle Kingdom 17. Enjoy and have a very happy holiday. Thank you so much for your support over the last year, it means a ton. Cheers!

This week on the show we have a whole lot of stuff to cover, and only an hour to cover it! We talk about the fire promo from Ricky Starks on Dynamite after he won the big battle royal, NXT Deadline, Raw and more. In the Retro Raw, we are on the heels of IYH: Rock Bottom, where we saw The Rock somehow retain the WWF championship and Austin (with help from a certain Big Red Machine and a very inexperienced backhoe driver) bury The Undertaker alive! We also hit on history and figure news in all the segments you know and love. If you like what you are hearing, please help us spread the word, rate, review, it all helps more than you know. Enjoy!

This week on the show we spend a good bit of time chatting about the go home Raw to In Your House: Rock Bottom. While the show is named after the WWF champion, The Rock, the main storyline is the brutal feud between Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker. It comes to a head here as Steve is left hanging above the stage before the Buried Alive match. We also talk about a ton of other topics including Survivor Series 2003, and the current offerings from WWE and AEW. Enjoy!

This week on the show we take a brief trip down memory lane as we sift through what happened "On This Day" in pro wrestling history. From there we take a deep dive into the 11/30/98 Raw. There's a lot of story going on here and we have thoughts on all of it. After that we take a look at all of the sweet Mattel reveals that happened on Monday at Hogan's Beach Shop in Clearwater, FL. before discussing Survivor Series and a ton more in the Stu. Big thanks to Freaktoyz for sponsoring the show and be sure to use code Dorkside to save 15% at Freaktoyz.com. Enjoy!

This week on the show we have a couple of big things happening! First of all, we have now partnered with Freaktoyz, the premier toy and collectible store in Wisconsin! Please go check them out either at the shop in Sheboygan or online. Use code “Dorkside” to save 15% off your purchase. Second, we have a good friend of the show back as Canada’s own Casey Corbin comes on to talk about Full Gear and a whole lot more. It was great catching up as we haven’t seen him since All Out weekend and haven’t had him on the show since last November. We also hit on all the segments you know and love, albeit a tad abbreviated. Enjoy and have a great Thanksgiving!

5.5 hours of driving. 322 miles. 2 wrestling shows. 1 awesome day. That was Sunday boiled down to its most simple form. This week we spend the bulk of the show running down ACW Wisconsin at Tanners and GCW at La Pica Lounge. It was so fun! We also chat about the Retro Raw from 11/16/98. We have a new "corporate" champion: The Rock! That is who Stone Cold Steve Austin set his sights on in the main event. We also briefly talk about AEW as we are headed toward Full Gear. Enjoy!

This week on the show we looked at the go home Raw to Survivor Series: Deadly Games. Both Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock have a ton of momentum behind them, and Kane is quite literally setting the WWF on fire. We also chat about Colt Cabana getting a crack at Chris Jericho’s ROH Championship, WWE Crown Jewel, and a ton more. Enjoy!

This week on the show we take a look back at a very decent Raw as we are on our way to crowning a new WWF champion at Survivor Series: Deadly Games. Vince McMahon is dealing some punishment to those who have wronged him and it's quite entertaining. We also chat about a great match that was recommended by @Purodad. From there, we get into the latest "Tales from the Territories", Jey Uso cracking on Smackdown, and the latest offerings from AEW. Enjoy!

Hey folks! This week on the show we take a look back on another Retro Raw in which Stone Cold Steve Austin has somehow gotten himself a new contract in the WWF. The signature on the contract says McMahon, but... You know the drill. We also take a look at some upcoming figure news and discuss the latest offerings from Tales From the Territories (focusing on Championship Wrestling From Florida) as well NXT's Halloween Havoc. Enjoy!

Hey guys and gals! This week on the show we dissect yet another classic episode of Monday Night Raw. With the memorable scene this week between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon it makes 4 weeks in a row that we have had a classic moment. The show started building to a 16 man tournament that will take place all in one night at Survivor Series. We also chat about two episodes of Dynamite, Tales From The Territories, and a whole lot more. Enjoy!
