This week on the show we are coming off the 1997 Royal Rumble and quickly heading toward Wrestlemania 13. The Retro Raw Review is such an entertaining episode. Bret Hart “quits”, Monsoon makes an appearance and Austin is in full “Stone Cold” mode. We then have a heaping helping of figure news that sees the AEW Unrivaled series 4 reveal, new Pops and more. We then discuss the recent episodes of NXT, Dynamite and Raw as well as some WWE Network stuff (Wrestling Challenge anyone?) and the documentary “You Cannot Kill David Arquette”. This week on the show we take an in depth look at the 1/13/97 Monday Night Raw, which was the go home show to the 1997 Royal Rumble in San Antonio, TX. This is a strange time in the WWF, and things are starting to get really good! Other topics of discussion include an absolute classic match on the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Bayley on the Steve Austin Broken Skull Sessions and NXT's New Years Evil show. All this as well as a lottery drawing to decide our fate in what will be the 3rd annual Tattoo Royal Rumble. This week's show is a little on the long side, but that's what happens when you have to cover all of the usual stuff plus 10+ hours of New Japan Pro Wrestling's biggest show(s) of the year! We spend a fair amount of time on the Retro Raw Review, where things are starting to heat up as we head towards the 1997 Royal Rumble. Bret and Shawn are starting to voice their distain for one another. This week on the show we are stunned to learn of the untimely passing of Jon Huber, known to the wrestling world as Brodie Lee. We spend a fair amount of the show discussing some of the tributes and outpouring of love for Brodie. We still hit the usual segments as well. The Retro Raw Review is the last show of 1996 and we have the HBK / Bret Hart rivalry really starting to heat up. We discuss an absolute classic in Whatchu Watchin?! And much, much more. 

On the show this week we have tons of ROH Final battle results "On This Day In Pro Wrestling History" as well as some historical facts about Low Ki that we didn't know going in. The Retro Raw Review is pretty good as we head toward the 1997 Royal Rumble. We discuss the current crown jewel in Mat's collection as we talk about the new arrivals.
