Dorkside of the Ring

Well for those of you who have been waiting for our annual summer bag league to start, it is in full swing this week, complete with a rain delay so we got a late start. That didn't stop us from getting to all the things we planned on chatting about (and some we didn't). We covered the 2001 KOTR PPV as well as the Smackdown that followed. The WCW invasion is finally starting, and it made for a fun show. We also touched on an NXT banger, AEW Grand Slam: Mexico, WWE and more. Cheers!

This week on the show we got off to a bit of a rocky start, but pulled it together nicely to give you all of the segments you know and love! Some things are heating up in the Smackdown Symposium as DDP has officially been revealed as Undertaker's wife Sara's stalker and the road is getting rough for Steve Austin and Vince McMahon. After that we talk about the latest from WWE and AEW and a ton more. Cheers!

Hey gang! This week on the show we have a bit more than usual to cover in the history segment, followed by a look at the penultimate episode of Smackdown before KOTR 2001, where The Undertaker's wife is still being stalked and Stone Cold Steve Austin is collecting signatures to right a perceived wrong. We also cover the latest Money in the Bank show, a super-sized AEW offering and a whole lot more. Cheers!

Hey gang! This week on the show we kick things off with a fairly mundane history segment followed by the Smackdown Symposium where we are building up to the 2001 King of the Ring PPV. After that we talked about a matchup between Sabu and Sean Waltman from a gymnasium in Minneapolis before getting a boots on the ground report from Adam, who was in South Milwaukee for Crusherfest. Cheers!

Hey gang! This week on the show, we almost go off the rails the second as it starts as everyone's favorite dogs start immediately barking. We then get into some history, and we finally start seeing some seeds planted for the "invasion" angle in the WWF in the "Smackdown Symposium". From there we talk a lot about Double or Nothing and all sorts of randomness. Cheers!

Hey gang! We are coming off a very busy week as far as live pro wrestling goes here in the Midwest! We had boots on the ground at AEW Dynamite & Collision as well as the big show in Oshkosh as ACW Wisconsin held their annual Water City Wrestling Con. We also hit on all of our normal segments, including some history and a shake up in the WWF (2001) as one of the tippy top guys has suffered a nasty quad injury. We hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend, and we will see you right here next week. Cheers!

This week on the show we open with some sad news as we chatabout the recent passing of Sabu. He was a legend in every sense of the wordand the pro wrestling community lost a real one. Our condolences go out to hisfamily, and we would like to thank Sabu for his contribution to this sport welove. We also talk about the recent Backlash show from WWE, run down some ofwhat we will be attending this week and so much more. Cheers!

Hey gang! Hope your week is off to a great start. This week on the show we hit on all of our usual segments including a Smackdown episode where things aren't going well for the Two Man Power Trip and even worse for their wives! We also talk about the latest Dark Side episode on Billy Jack Haynes, and a whole lot more. Stay tuned as next week is a big one with a ton of things on the docket as we get ready for a huge week of live professional wrestling. Cheers!

This week on the show we talk about the 2001 Backlash PPV and the Smackdown that followed. Two Man Power Trip hold a lot of gold, but all is not good in the group. Nothing too crazy to report in the history segment, but it's always nice to take a walk down memory lane. The rest of the show was spent talking about the latest offerings from WWE and AEW including an absolute must watch TLC match from Smackdown. Cheers!

Hey yo! There has been enough shade thrown WrestleMania's way, so we are going to talk about what we LIKED about the biggest event of the year! We also chat about some of the other events that occurred over the past week including a couple of great shows from AEW. In our retro timeline we are covering the go home Smackdown to Backlash '01. Do we find out what the rules are for a "Dutchess of Queensbury" match? Guess you will have to listen to find out! Enjoy!
