Colorado Domestic Duck Rescue was founded in responce to the widespread issue of abandoned domestic ducks, which are often purchased as pets or Easter gifts and later dumped in public parks. Because domestic ducks cannot fly or survive in the wild like non-domestic breeds, Colorado Domestic Duck Rescue works to capture, rehabilitate, and rehome them through an online community, while raising funds for their care through events like their annual “Run to Rescue” 5K.
