Why not take some serious safety advice from Nicole (who's never actually been to Australia) on which animals to cuddle and which to run away from with some significant speed? Doesn't she sound depressed, though?
Make a few simple choices and see what life has in store in today's positively prophetic skill.
First covered way back in episode 352, this smash of a skill was mentioned in this week's email round Robin from Amazon so I thought I'd give it a whirl once more.
Feel a bit weird about this one guys. Nice sound effects but find the whole premise pretty distasteful. I know, I know - it's just a bit of fun. Think I'm going to avoid this one from now on, though.
Tiffany Black (@1modernmonster on the Twitters) is back. This time she's skillfully sorting syllables with speed and alphabetising (Americanism) initial characters against the clock. You go girl! (Is that what you lovely US-type people say too? And, thinking about it, 'alphabetising' should probably be spelt with a Zed. Er… Zee.)
Based upon a Netflix series and opened with "3%", this skill seems pretty sweet. Great audio and a promising premise. Give it a go.
Super short episode today. Turn your Echo into a sophisticated sonic mosquito repelling machine in moments - according to the makers of this skill anyway. We then finish off with a really poor joke which, on reflection, probably won't even make sense unless you appreciate that, here in the UK at least, one could quite easily go out for a nice meal in a pub called something like 'The Rose and Crown'. Listen to the last half of this episode at your own risk.
Dozens of chimes from several traditional grandfather, mantel or cuckoo clocks, to cow, cat, Donald Trump or Stephen Hawking - and everything in between. I'm writing this listening to those soothing grandfather clock tick-tocks right now. Dedicate an Echo to it. It's that good.
Did you know that you can ask the A-lady to repeat what she just said? I said, "Did you know…" - Oh, you heard. You can also set up a second adult profile on your household Echos to share some things and have others just for you - perfectly mirroring the rich mixture that is marriage. On the other hand, you could use it to keep a bunch of top-secret stuff private from your spouse so he/she will never know what iniquitous activities you get up to. Your call.
With big thanks to David Ward ([email protected]) we can now all manage exactly how and when the A-lady pipes-up with timers and alarms and the like, like a true pro. If you guys also decide to send in your demos to [email protected] I will be chuffed. Really chuffed. It's true.
