Dot to Dot - the daily 5min Alexa demo show

Admirably keeping up the side for the good ol' US of A is Andrea Barker ([email protected]) in this international general knowledge challenge.

I totally agree with Patrick Steggle ([email protected]) when he says that some of these local laws are pretty laughable - except the one about the cushion. That one seems very sensible to me. Some ladies might have really quite bony behinds…

Hmmm. Today's skill is a little bit wanting, although I know there are loads of avid Countdown fans out there so how can I not include it?

It's a thundery day only a couple of days after Remembrance Sunday and today we listen to an evocative, atmospheric skill which I think would make a suitable backdrop to any such sombre and reflective event.

It's Patrick Steggle ([email protected]) to the rescue once again - hurrah! Like paradoxes? Then you'll love this skill. BTW those two sentences may or may not form a paradox not a million miles from 'The second sentence is false. The first sentence is true.' - I'll leave you to decide!!

Andrea Barker ([email protected]) is back to show us a bit of Cortana - which is, weirdly enough, Microsoft's virtual assistant speaking through the A-lady. Perhaps Cortana is going for the 'Halo' effect by appearing through the much more amazing Alexa (sorry - that was a really bad pun on the fact that Cortana was originally a character in the video game of that name. You knew? Apologies.)

Hack away at the anagram-laden ore in this great new skill and fill your trusty bag with words. Sell them at the shop and upgrade your gear for more mining goodness.

Opened with "Avengers Trivia", Patrick Steggle ([email protected]) brings us a brilliant demo of this super super-hero skill.

I'm genuinely not sure of the point to this game - which may be where it got it's name. Good luck fathoming it for yourself and feel free to tweet any enlightening comments with #DTDPod.

Braving som belated skill-based spookiness is Andrea Barker ([email protected]) who brings us another scary skill from the same developers as the fab'Feel the Pressure' series.
