Dot to Dot - the daily 5min Alexa demo show

From the awesome Amazon Kids series of skills, Squeak in the Night is a must for every child (of any age) lucky enough to have nerves of steel and at least two Echo Buttons. Help Sergeant Sunny, Field Agent Jade and their pals provide for the mouse clan - but watch out for Lucy the cat who lies in ambush.

Unlike a recently covered skill, today's adventure game with a rich and sizeable story-canvas really is on an epic scale - albeit with one teensy-weensy little sound-effect to its name.

The fab Phillip Chalker brings us a version of Day Word from Down Under and I follow up with a slightly different flavour from Blighty. What's yours like where you are in the World, I wonder? And please send in recordings of your favourite skills; [email protected]. Pretty please?

Three nice sound-related skills today; 'Tibetan Singing Bowls' (spoon not included), 'Underwater Sounds' (search for 'Sleep Sounds: Underwater Sounds') and the very chatty 'R2D2 Talk'. Sounds like fun!

Invoked with 'Mind Reader', this skill employs a mysterious method of reading the mind of the A-lady whose thinking of a random number between 1 and 10. Good luck getting to the bottom of it.

Even though we really could do with some more sound-effects to build the tension, today's skill is still a bit of a heart-stopper. How many trivia questions can you get right in a minute with the help of some bonus seconds along the way?

Phillip Chalker is back to bring us a groovy skill that will quiz you on your driving theory. Strap yourself in and let's go - brum, brum.

We're doubling up today with some stunning starship sounds as a backdrop to the deep-space skirmish skill; Starship Captain. Prepare photon torpedoes and set phasers to stun!

Use this skill either as a quick querky fact generator about countries around the world, or to augment the playing experience when using the physical boardgame of the same name.

Two for the price of one today, first Phillip Chalker brings us the partially perspicacious Fortune Teller skill, followed by Agent Do Good who swings into decidedly domestic action. If you get promoted to level 2 after 12 solid days of do-goodery, do you get a cape to sew all your badges on?
