“Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.”
Philippians 2:5-7 RSV
In this episode, I talk about the God-man Jesus and the adorable mystery of his Hypostasis.
One Being, 3 Persons.
Can be apprehended but goes beyond human comprehension. It goes beyond reason but not against reason!!! Comprehend it and lose your mind, deny it and lose your soul.
The Christian way is different: harder, and easier. Christ says, ‘Give me All. I don’t want so much of your time and so much of your money and so much of your work: I want You… Hand over the whole natural self… I will give you a new self instead. In fact, I will give you Myself: my own will shall become yours- C.S Lewis
Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.
In this episode, I talk about how some goals may be well intended but misguided! And how supposed “Mountains of influence” could turn out to be Valleys of Compromise.
In this episode, I talk about the struggles of med school, the journey of sanctification, and how these experiences intertwine with life's overall journey.
In this episode I talk about how this world is compatible with human suffering and how we see this being played out in fantasies, sci-fi and movies!
In this episode, I discuss how faith and medicine are not opposing forces, but rather complementary to each other.
