My guest today is Dr. Smita Roy Trivedi. Dr. Smita is a faculty member at the prestigious National Institute of Bank Management, Pune Like any true academician, Dr. Smita is a quintessential learner. She has been on a continuous journey of learning, right from her graduation in economics to her post-graduation in International and Mathematical Economics to her PhD. in finding the effect of the exponential growth of financial markets on macroeconomic parameters and most recently into the world of Technical analysis. During our chat, Dr. Smita speaks about her journey, her work, and her latest book, “ Effective Trading in Financial Markets Using Technical Analysis" which she co-authored with Mr. Ashish Kyal, CMT in 2020. She also shares valuable advice to students who want to explore careers in the fields of finance and economics either as a professional or as a researcher and academician.
