Eden Dranger is a comedian and writer that learned she had the BRCA1 gene, meaning she had a very high chance of getting breast cancer and decided to get a double mastectomy. She's on this week's episode to talk with Eli about making the decision and having to take care of herself after the surgery, since she lost both of her parents before even learning about BRCA1. They also talk about self care and being your own advocate when it comes to medical care.
