Double Post Podcast

On this episode, we go over Portland's 4-1 loss to FC Dallas and talk about why it's not that big of a deal. We still evaluate player performances as they relate to the season as a whole and do our usual jazz, complete with a whole cornucopia of "MLS Moments." We then narrowly avoid jinxing the Timbers before their upcoming trip to Mexico City, guessing the XIs and hoping for the best.

Felipe Mora's late (like, really late) penalty squares things up in Portland's Concacaf Champions League Quarterfinal tie with "El Más Grande," Club América. We discuss the match and Portland's chances in the second leg, as well as the 2-1 win over Houston that we missed. Also, Reece slanders a legendary Dairon Asprilla moment.

The Timbers lost to rivals Vancouver 1-0 on their opening night of the MLS season, and we are dissatisfied. Catch up on a confusing night of Timbers soccer, complete with one goal breakdown, near-goal breakdowns, and tactical reasons why the game went the way it did. We also rant about the possibility of a European Super-League—get angry with us!

On this episode of the Double Post Podcast, we give an overview of the squad before jumping into some expectations and predictions for the 2021 Portland Timbers MLS season. We jot down our predictions for team MVP, most surprising/disappointing players, and more. We also answer the question everyone's talking about: which one of us is right post, and which one is left post?

The Portland Timbers dismantled CD Marathón 5-0 in the second leg of their Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 tie, and we are hyped about it. This episode includes postgame reactions, player evaluations, goal breakdowns, a brand new segment, and a healthy amount of tom-foolery.

Reece and Charlie are back with the Double Post Podcast! We discuss the Portland Timbers' 2-2 draw in Honduras against CD Marathón in the first leg of the Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 matchup. Includes postgame reactions, goal breakdowns, player evaluations, our Man of the Match and Team Grades, and a brief look at what's ahead.
