Our last message in Romans was October 22, so it's time for a review as we resume the series. And yes, we begin in Ephesians to set the stage.
Should Christians not celebrate Christmas?
For various reasons some Christians oppose the celebration of Christmas. Why? Some do so because the Bible doesn't command its celebration. Others do so because of its supposed pagan origins (the date of its celebration, some of the customs associated with its celebration, etc.). Still others oppose it, for other reasons (its commercialization, secularization, etc.). But one thing is clear: the birth of Jesus was celebrated at the time by both angels and men both in heaven and on earth.
