The terror attacks this week in Brussels highlighted the exogenous risks in the market from outlier events. Right now, the geopolitical soup in Europe also is being complicated by a so-called “Brexit,” which would be an exit by Britain from the European Union. Then there’s the political situation here in the U.S., in the most-unusual election year, certainly in my lifetime. Finally, Asia is actually looking better, and in particular China has seen improvement economically.
